No Virat Kohli For the Remaining 3 tests against England, Team Announced : BCCI
BCCI : Team India’s squad for the final 3 tests against the visitor team England was announced on Sunday by the National Selectors of BCCI. But it came with a not so good news for the team and all the Indian Cricket Fans as Star Batsman Virat Kohli was not named in the team citing personal reason for the unavailability.
There were speculation going on for the last few days about the availability of Virat Kohli for the remaining tests . Virat already missed the first two tests against England at Hyderabad & Vishakhapatnam due to personal reason which made the fans worrying about his personal life. BCCI issued a press release at that time requesting everyone to respect his Privacy and to allow him the time he needs.
Reportedly Virat Kohli has informed the senior men’s selection committee and the team management about his decision to opt out of the final 3 tests. This is for the first time that Virat Kohli will not play a complete test series since his debut in International cricket which is definitely a big blow to the Indian Team.

” The Men’s Selection Committee announced India’s squad for the final three Tests of the IDFC First Bank series against England.
Squad: Rohit Sharma (C), Jasprit Bumrah (VC), Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill, KL Rahul*, Rajat Patidar, Sarfaraz Khan, Dhruv Jurel (WK), KS Bharat (WK), R Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja*, Axar Patel, Washington Sundar, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohd. Siraj, Mukesh Kumar, Akash Deep
Notes:
1: Virat Kohli will remain unavailable for selection for the remainder of the series due to personal reasons. The Board fully respects and supports Mr. Kohli’s decision.
2: **The participation of Ravindra Jadeja and KL Rahul is subject to fitness clearance from the BCCI medical team.
The third Test will commence on February 15, 2024 in Rajkot while the fourth Test kickstarts in Ranchi from February 23, 2024. The fifth and final Test of the series will be played in Dharamsala from March 07, 2024.”
