Pat Cummins to Lead Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2024
IPL franchise Sunrisers Hyderabad on Monday announced a new captain for the upcoming season of IPL 2024.
Hyderabad franchise of Indian Premier league, Sunrisers Hyderabad on Monday posted on its social media account that Australian Captain Pat Cummins will be their new captain for the upcoming season of IPL which is scheduled to start from 22nd March 2024.
Cummins, who led Australia to the World Test Championship and ODI World Cup 2023, will be taking over from Aiden Markram at SRH.
Pat Cummins was sold for 20.5 crore rupees to Sunrisers Hyderabad during the IPL 2024 auction, making him the second costliest player in the history of IPL.
